First I will like to send my heartfelt condolences to the friends and family of Tommy Silva. I know I'm late but I just found out about his passing :( Tommy did my first tattoo 11years ago and I haven't forgot him since! He was such a friendly and people person. I saw him a couple of years ago in a dunkin donuts and I was surprised that he remembered me, being that he had did my tattoo years ago! Thats shows his character. He did more than tattoos, he wanted to know u as a person. What a huge heart he has and he will b greatly missed! R.I.P

My first big tattoo from Tommy was during his Shotsie's days in 96, I also spent many hours in Tommys' chair over a year and half which he created a beautiful work of art on my chest/stomach, which I wear proudly everyday.
My heart and Prayers go out to Trevor, Michelle, Marianne, Tommys mom and pop.
Requiem in pacem Tommy, Jahs light shines on you and Buddha will walk with you the rest of the way. You will be missed but never forgotten. Peace

I met Tommy one summer a few years ago when he was in downtown Paterson giving away free books. I almost walked right by him when my daughter stopped and just looked at him. He handed her a book and told her to do a little reading for the summer and keep her mind sharp. She was thankful. She actually took the book everywhere we went and read it. Now years later at 21 she still finds book to read and keep her mind sharp. God Bless you Tommy and your family.
