Happle, Rose C. (nee Carbone) age 86 of Paterson at rest in Cedar Grove on February 10, 2012. Beloved wife of the late George D. Happle, Sr., (1999). Loving mother of Maryanne Happle of Pensacola, Fl, John "Butch" Happle of N. Caldwell, George D. Happle, Jr. and his wife Miyoung of Bloomingdale, Joseph Happle and his wife Paz of Williamstown, Wayne Happle of Paterson and David Happle of Wades Boro, NC. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in East Paterson, she lived in Paterson most of her life. She was a Banquet Waitress for S.S. Binghamton Restaurant, Edgewater for 20 years before retiring in 1981. She was a volunteer for Eva's Kitchen, Paterson for ten years. For six years, she was the president of Brook Sloat Terrace, where she was instrumental in converting them into Co-ops. She was a member of Grandparents for Kids at William Paterson University, Wayne. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Tuesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
