Verde, Raffaele "Ralph" age 23 of Little Falls at rest in Little Falls on October 28, 2011. Beloved son of Franca (nee Liberti) Verde of Little Falls. Dear brother of Giuseppe "Joe" Verde and Maria Richards of Little Falls. Step-son of Shane Richards of Little Falls. Nephew and Godson of Tony & Vicky Liberti of Marlboro. Nephew of Gus & Janet Liberti of Woodland Park, Zia Maria & Bruno Roveto of Whippany, Tommy & Martha Liberti of Denville and Zia Angela & Jason Gonzalez of Denville. Son of Andrea Verde of Italy. Also surviving are fourteen cousins and several aunts and uncles in Italy. Born in Secaucus, he lived in North Bergen before moving to Little Falls in 2002. He was a Student at Yale University and completed his junior year. He was a member of Yale Club Soccer, the Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity and SSOC at Yale. He was a Chief Master's aide. He attended Passaic Valley Regional High School and was the Salutatorian and graduate of the Class of 2007. He was an honor student all four years, and was a member of the National Honor Society, the Passaic Valley Honor Society, and the Italian Honor Society. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was involved with Community Service in New Haven, CT. Raffaele enjoyed reading, writing, movies, playing with his little sister and hanging out with friends. Raffaele was also a parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Angels R.C. Church, Little Falls. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Monday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Holy Angels R.C. Church, Little Falls at 10:00 AM. Interment at Flower Hill Cemetery, North Bergen. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
