Parrella, Rudolph "Rudy" age 82 of Albuquerque died on October 2, 2011. Beloved husband of the former Jeanne Koskie. Loving Step-Father of Jenny Cathey and her husband Daniel of Springfield, OR. Beloved Grandfather of Lucas Cathey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Rudy is predeceased by his 5 brothers and 5 sisters. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson for 38 years, then in Wantage, before settling in Albuquerque, NM in 2009. Rudy was involved in education all his life, ending his career as Principal of Vernon Township High School, Vernon in 1986. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 11:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinsons Disease Assoc. of NJ, P.O. Box 214, Elizabeth, NJ 07207, the Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill Road, S.W., Lilburn, GA 30047, or buy a round of golf for a friend or complete stranger.
