Salhany, Bernadette age 59 of Paterson at rest in Wayne on June 21, 2011. Loving niece of Beatrice Dean of Paterson and Josephine Hancock and her husband Edward. Dear cousin of Mary Dean and her husband Michael Gonzalez of Paterson and Beatrice Miele and her husband Michael and their children, Michael, Kristen and Lauren. Beloved friend of Marilyn Masur of Rochelle Park. Sister of Louis Salhany of Florida. Aunt of Kerri and Kenny of Rhode Island. She lived in Paterson for most of her life. She was a Teacher for the Paterson Board of Education, School #2, for many years before retiring. She was a member of the N.J.E.A and a parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
