Hines, Bryan T. age 87 of Totowa at rest in Totowa on May 12, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Emily A. (nee Ambrosio) Hines. Cousin of Loretta Thompson and her husband Robert of TX. Uncle of Debra Burks and her husband Alvin of TX, George Bullock, Sr. of NY and William Wingate and his wife Patricia of NY. Great Uncle of George Bullock, Jr., Gregory Bullock, Geoffrey Bullock, William Wingate, Bruce Wingate and Patrick Wingate. Born in Ft. Worth, TX he went to the Navy in 1941 and served in WWII. He was recalled in 1950 for Korean Police Action and has resided in Totowa since 1948. He was a Chief Operating Engineer for Montclair State University, Montclair, for 25 years before retiring in 1988. Mr. Hines was a member of the Totowa V.F.W., Post 10104. He was a member of the American Legion Post 238, Woodland Park. He was a member of the D.A.V. Chapter 1, Passaic and was a member of St. James Knights of Columbus, Totowa. He was a Free Mason and past master commander of the Legion of Honor in the Shrine in Livingston. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Hines was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Cremation is private at the request of the family. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
