Dearest Aunt Sally, as with many of my cousins, you were also my godmother. I remember that when we lived on Pine Street I looked for 4 p.m. on the weekdays because that's when you would walk up the street from Joelles (sp?), where you worked, and I would run down the street to greet you. I also remember trying to say hello to you while you were at work because your work station was near a side door and I would be shued away because I was interrupting your work. Karen mentioned Fountain Spring Lake and I remember you would always take command of the BBQ grill and you would always line it with Reynolds Wrap. You also made pasta on the grill and warm your "gravy" to the envy of many of the picnickers around us. When I was nearly five years old, you babysat for me one New Year's Day because mom went into labor with Linda. I had told everyone I wanted a baby sister. When Dad came home later that day, he said, "She had the baby." Delighted, you asked, "what'd she have?" When he replied "a girl", I jumped for joy and then ran into your arms and cried because I didn't have a baby brother. I remember you held me tight and consoled me. I also remember your distinctive laugh. When I performed in "Barefoot in the Park" in high school, Aunt Ann and you were both in the audience one night. Both of you let your laughs flow freely, and each very loud and unique. While I remained in character, I could tell whenever Aunt Ann or you laughed. Another memory is when I graduated from high school, the graduates sat on the football field while the guests sat in the bleachers. You climbed to the very top of the bleachers and sat in front of the press box with the rest of the family. You then proceeded to wave at me throughout the ceremony until I finally waved back. I was trying to be cool, but I had to relent otherwise you would have waved for the rest of the night. :). There are so many more memories both good and sad that I can post, but I prefer to remember the good ones. You were always a spcecial part of my life and you will remain so for the rest of my years. With love.

Beloved Aunt & Godmother: Aunt Sally since you lived with my parents, brother and me; I feel you were like a “second mother to me. I remember how great of a swimmer you were back in the day when we all used to go to Fountain Springs Lake. My cousins, friends and I used to like to race you to the docks and back. When we had our own pool, you used to like to play pool games with all us kids. I remember measuring my height to you and finally passing you up! You also used to teach me how to dance while we had the Lawrence Welk show on TV. With all our family gatherings throughout the years, your laugh was the one heard loudest. You used to like when all of my friends called you “Aunt Sally too. I remember taking you to St. Bonaventure's RC Church to light candles and making NOVENAS for anyone who was sick or having a baby. I’m so happy you, my mom, and me took that Caribbean Cruise in summer of ‘85. That cruise had so much for each of us. One of my fondest memories of you was watching how much fun you had at my wedding dancing with as many partners as you could. It’s been hard watching your health decline these past eight years. It must be so joyous for you to now be renewed and reunited with your parents, siblings, and old friends, and to finally be with our Lord in heaven. I love you and miss you, but content knowing I will see you again in the Lord’s time.

Dear Karen, Carmella, Pete and Family ... I am so sorry for your loss. Aunt Sallie looks wonderful in this picture - just as I remember her. Wishing you all peace and love - I thought of a quote I wanted to share with you from John 14:2,4: "In my father's house there are many mansions. I go to prepare a place for you. And you yourself know the way where I am going."... Dear God, grant us as we grieve that we may hold our memories close, living in the hope of your eternal kingdom where you promise to bring us together again. With sincere warm wishes, Love, Rae Federico

What a lovely photograph of Sally. That is how I remember her, though I haven't seen her in years. God bless you, Aunt Carm and & family for the years of faithful good care given to your sister. Indeed, it was a labor of love. May she rest in peace.

Beloved Aunt: Rob & I wish we
could be there. We will remem-
ber you as we last saw you. My heart is broken as I remember you as a little girl when we sat on the stoop on Pine St. and you bought Carl's Lemon Ice, pistachio nuts and taught us how to dance by standing on your feet. I Love You and will miss you greatly. Love, Mary Ann
