Obituary of Lillian C. Polander

Polander, Lillian C. (nee Wyrembek), age 90 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on February 28, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Alexander J. Polander (1992). Loving Mother of Patricia A Gelbwaks and her husband Jeremy of Fort Lee and the late James S. Polander (2011). Aunt of Gerald Jurewicz of DE and Elaine Villano of Sussex. Born in Paterson, she was a lifelong city resident. She was an executive secretary for Spectra Chem, Inc., Paterson, for many years, before retiring in 1983. Prior to that she was a buyer for Weiner Sports Wear, Paterson. Mrs. Polander was a parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church and a member of the Seniors Club there. She was also a member of the rosary society and Deborah Hospital Foundation, Browns Mills. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 10:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 11:00 AM. Entombment at Calvary Mausoleum, Paterson. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
