We were so sorry to hear about June's passing. After we saw her at the 50th Hawthorne High School Class of 1955 reunion, she kept in touch with us through birthday and anniversary greetings. What a sweet soul. She will be missed.

Only if everyone could have a friend and neighbor like 'Penny'. She had a heart of gold. She never refused me one single thing. I only had to mention a problem and there she was with a solution or 2 extra hands ready and willing to help. She could often be seen picking up litter from neighboring properties, readying their gardens for spring planting or shoveling their walks. She spent the greatest part of her life doing for others. Whatever she did - she gave 110%. I will miss her terribly. I will always remember our nightly chats and laughs in my yard and on her porch. Rest in peace girlfriend. We will see you again someday and have more chats and laughs. I expect you to get that Garden upstairs in the best shape it has ever been.
