Wild, MD Eugene L. age 89 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on November 7, 2010. Beloved husband of the late, Alice (nee Koogler) Wild. Loving Father of Dr. Mary A. Kildow and her husband Richard of Little Falls and Mark J. Wild, MD and his wife Marta E. Wild, MD of Maryland. Beloved brother of Peter J. Wild of Pompton Plains. Loving Grandfather of Alison Ross and her husband Donnie of Knoxville, TN, Steven Kildow of Paterson, and Amanda Wild of Maryland. Predeceased by his parents, Capt. Eugene A. Wild and Mary E. (nee Doughaen), sister Eleanor Mullen, and brothers, Joseph and Jack Wild. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, he was a lifelong resident. He was an anesthesiologist at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center, Paterson from 1958 - 1991, serving during a portion of that time as both Assistant Director and Acting Director of Anesthesia. Dr. Wild was a graduate of St. Bonaventure University, class of 1942 and graduated from Georgetown Medical School in 1945. He was a Captain in the U.S. Army and served at the Veterans Hospital in Roanoke, VA from 1946-1948. Dr. Wild was an orthopedic resident from 1948-1949 and worked at Crippled Children's Hospital. Newark, from 1949-1951. He practiced orthopedics from 1951-1956. Dr. Wild completed his anesthesia residency at St. Vincent's Hospital in New York City from 1956 - 1958. He was also a member of the American Medical Association and the Anesthesia Society of NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Bonaventure RC Church, Paterson at 10:15 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Wednesday 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM.
