Condie, Virginia B. (nee Barrow) of Paterson passed away on February 4, 2013 at the age of 96 . She was born July 2, 1916 in Paterson. She lived in Paterson before moving to Totowa with her parents where she grew up. In 1935, she married her husband Harold W. Condie, Sr.. He passed away in 1963. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Paterson, where she was a member of the Girl's Friendly Society, and the Senior Choir. At one time, she was the President of the Episcopal Church Women. Virginia worked for the New Jersey Bell Telephone Co, which later became Verizon which is located on Shepherds Lane in Totowa. She was an exchange layout person. After her retirement in 1982, she enjoyed going on many bus trips and cruises with the Retired Telephone Pioneers Club and the Haledon AARP. She is survived by her son, Harold W. Condie Jr. of Paterson. She is also survived by her sister Edna Smallwood of Austin, TX, as well as her nephews Donald Smallwood and his wife Kathy of Austin, TX and Raymond Smallwood and his wife Sandra of Mesquite, TX. . She is survived by her two grand nephews Matthew and Clay Smallwood, as well as one great grand nephew. She is also survived by her niece Jean Ianderose and her husband Frank of Delray Beach, FL., and a sister in law Jean Condie of Virginia. Other survivers include a niece Dana of Virginia, a nephew Robert Condie of Washington State, a cousin Sidney Kiviet of Clifton, a cousin Naomi Joplin of CA, and some great grand nieces and nephews. Relatives and frinds are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Monday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit on Sunday 3-7 PM.
