My mom was friends with Marion, which led me to cruising with Marion this past April 2012. She was so thrilled to take that cruise and determined every day to get up and experience as much as she could. Of course, lots of laughs along the way, including smuggling wine in her wheelchair as we boarded. :) She was so much fun and so warm to everyone she met - a great example of how to live. My thoughts and prayers to her family and friends. Laugh and love every moment you are able...

We had the extreme pleasure of meeting Marion 8 years ago when she and our Mom, Claire Kittle, met and became the best of friends. They were like two peas in a pod right from the start. We were so happy my Mom had met such a kind, caring, and loving friend. They had so much fun together and were always laughing. When we would pick them up upon their return from one of their trips, they would fill the entire ride home with laughter and stories about all the fun they had. One time they returned wearing gold medals from winning a shuffleboard tournament – they had knocked out everybody including the final team of 2 men to win the championship and take home the gold. They were so funny and could barely speak through their laughter to tell us that they had worn the medals all day, even at dinner when they were all dressed up. Everyone got a kick out of them when they were together. My husband and I have also had so many good times with Marion and have so many fond memories. We have shared many dinners and parties at my Mom’s with Marion. She always had a kind word, a smile, and always made us laugh. We loved to just sit and talk with her. She always spoke of her family with such love, they meant everything to her. I know my Mom will miss her more than words can say. Marion is truly one of the nicest people we have ever met and we feel so blessed to have had her in our lives. She will be missed dearly, and will forever be in our hearts. Our deepest sympathy to all of you at this very difficult time. Love, Debra & Bryant

There are no words to express my deepest sympathy. Marion was my dearest and fondest friend. From the time we met 8 years ago we seem to click. We belonged to many different organizations and travelled to so many places. We would get into our silly moods and laugh so much the tears would come down. We always talked about our families so I feel I know you all so well and finally got to meet you at her 80th birthday party. The birthday party made her so happy. Her favorite song was Spanish Eyes and I can still see her dancing. Every dance we went to we asked them to play it. I am so grateful that she came into my life and will always cherish the good times we had. I truly will miss her dearly. My prays and thoughts are with you all. I know she is in a better place with Mickey. Love, Claire
