Obituary of Lucy Rocco

Rocco, Lucy (nee Zambrano), age 88 of Little Falls formerly of Woodland Park at rest in Little Falls on October 24, 2009. Beloved wife of the late John Rocco (2001). Loving Mother of Anthony M. Rocco Esq. and his wife Rosealine of Lavalette and Grace C. Zingg RN and her husband William of Little Falls. Grandmother of Patrice M. Rocco of Lavalette, Michael A. Palladino of Little Falls, Anthony M. Rocco Jr. and his wife Kristen of Stratford, CT and Joseph J. Palladino of Little Falls. Great grandmother of Kaleigh Rocco. Sister of Frank Zambrano of North Haledon, Carmine Zambrano of Woodland Park and the late John, Ralph and Mary Zambrano and Antoinette Coppa. Cousin of Nancy Soto of Georgia. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she lived in Woodland Park for most of her life before moving to Little Falls five years ago. For many years she worked in the family operated business, Zambrano's Bakery in Woodland Park. She was then involved with Pal's Superette, Paterson which she owned and operated alongside her late husband, John. She was a proud and dedicated family woman. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:15 AM. Entombment at Calvary Mausoleum, Paterson. Friends may call Tuesday 7-9 PM and Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
