Obituary of Raymond A. Gruzas

Gruzas, Raymond A. age 53 of Prospect Park at rest in Wayne on Thursday, October 22, 2009. Beloved husband of the former Aida I. Rivera of Prospect Park. Loving Father of Jennifer Soledad and her husband Ernesto of Easton, PA. Grandfather of Cassandra and Garin. Dear son of Elisabeth (nee Sterzel) Gruzas of Stockton, CA and the late Wytautas Gruzas. Brother of Det "Ted" Gruzas of SC, Tom Gruzas of Stockton, CA, and the late Algimantas "Al" Gruzas. Survivors include nieces and nephews. Born in Kandern, Germany he came to the U.S.A in 1956 residing in various towns before settling in Prospect Park. He was a Landscaper for various landscaping companies in North Jersey. In his leisure time he loved to cook and play billiards, listen to music, play cards and talk with his family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 7:30 PM. Cremation is private at the request of the family.
