Obituary of Grace Elizabeth Roberts

Roberts, Grace Elizabeth (nee Tripp), age 81 of Woodland Park at rest in Paterson on October 23, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Horace "Lefty" Roberts (1989). Loving Mother of William "Reese" Roberts of NY, Horace "Del" Roberts of Bel Camp, MD, Thomas Roberts of Newburg, NY, Sarah Tahan of Rockaway, Kathy Tricarico of Clifton, Thurman Roberts of Rockaway, Kenneth Roberts of Woodland Park and the late Peggy Neill. Sister of Louise White of SC. Survivors include eighteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Born in Greenwood, SC she came to New Jersey sixty years ago. She was a Weaver for various factories in the Paterson area for forty-five years before retiring. Mrs. Roberts was a member of the Textile Worker's Union in Paterson and was affiliated for many years with the Country Music Association of North Jersey. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may call Monday 6-9 PM only.
