Thank you for always being kind to me, Mr. Brady. I loved your gentle yet firm way. There was a quiet grace about you that I strongly admire and know lives on through your children, especially my Uncle Brian and your tri-athlete grandson, James. May you dance to your favorite song with your beautiful wife always.

Even thought I never had the pleasure of meeting James T. Brady I have worked with his son Brian for a couple of years now. They say the apple doesn't fall to far from the tree. Brian is a wonderful human being I'm sure that he reflects his father's upbring making him a man who is warm hearted, respectful and honorable.

I have fond memories of my father-in-law(aka)Big Jim.I will always remember his unique sense of humor and for being a great dad to Marilyn and Brian. I will miss all his stories. When his grandson was born, his namesake he would take the bus everyday from the bronx to yonkers to take Jimmy to the park. He later lived with us for awhile and made friends in the neighborhood store (Lotto Plus). They too, liked his sense of humor. I will miss my beloved father-in-law.

I first met Jim Brady in 1980 along with his dear wife, Marilyn, lil'Marilyn, Brian and the older sons. They lived on the 4th floor while I lived on the 5th. Needless to say, we bumped into each other a lot usually on the stairs. Jim and his family were the best neighbors I could have ever had, occasionally babysitting for my two little ones. Little did I know that this good guy would become family to me when my sister, Deirdre, married Brian in 1996 and became the best grandpa to my nephew, James. Till we meet again.

When tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not there to see; If the sun should rise and find your eyes, all filled with tears for me; I wish so much you wouldn't cry, the way you did today, while thinking of the many things, we didn't get to say. I know how much you love me, as much as I love you, and each time that you think of me, I know you'll miss me too.
So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me, I'm right here, in your heart.

God saw as you were getting tired, a cure was not to be
So he wrapped His arms around you And whispered 'Come with Me.'
With tearful eyes I watched you suffer,
And saw you fade away
Although I loved you dearly,
I could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating
Hard working hands laid to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.
