Obituary of Mary Puglia

Puglia, Mary (nee Perillo) age 92 of Paterson at rest in Cedar Grove on September 4, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Angelo Puglia. Loving Mother of Alfred Puglia of Cape May Court House, Frank Puglia of Malasia, James Puglia of Roseland and Roseanne Capone of Paterson. Also survived by 5 grandchildren. Born in Italy, she came to the United States at the age of 3 and lived in Iowa before moving to NJ. She was a clerk typist for the Social Security Administration, Paterson before retiring. She was a member of the American Legion Post #227, Totowa. She belonged to the Preakness Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, as well as a volunteer at Preakness Hospital in Wayne. She was a former member of St. Gerard R.C. Church Seniors Club, Paterson. She was a Yeoman 2nd Class WWII Navy veteran. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 10:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St.Gerard R.C.
