Obituary of Margaret Ferrante

Ferrante, Margaret Corrao, 71, of Pompano Beach, Florida at rest on August 23, 2009. Beloved Mother of Stephen Ferrante of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; David Ferrante of Sparta, New Jersey; Carmen Ferrante (and Alicia) of Hampton, New Jersey. Loving Grandmother of Carmen III and Samantha. Cherished Sister and Sister-in law of Dorothy and Frank Bott of Wayne, New Jersey. Devoted Aunt of Karen Codacovi, Frank Bott Jr. and Michael Bott. Margie, an Eastside High School Graduate, was raised in the Riverside section of Paterson, New Jersey. She worked as a Service Representative for New Jersey Bell. At age 25, she married Carmen Ferrante. She was initially a stay at home mom who later established a secretarial and real estate agent career. In the late 1980's she moved to Florida. In March 2009, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Saturday at 8:15 AM. Funeral mass to follow at St. Mary's RC Church, Pompton Lakes at 9:00 AM. Entombment at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
