Scavone, Sadie (nee Azzarella), age 84 of Totowa at rest on August 15, 2009 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Angelo Scavone (2000). Loving and devoted mother of Linda Campiglia and her husband Tony of Wayne. She was a loving grandmother of Dean Campiglia and his wife Veronica and Anthony Campiglia and his wife Kristin. Cherished great-grandmother known affectionately as GG to Hanna, Angelo, Isabella, Dean, Jr., and Giada. She was predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Loving aunt of Louis and Robert D'Amelio and many other nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson, after marriage, she moved to Totowa, where she lived for over 60 years. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Scavone was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa. She was also a member of the Happy Seniors of Totowa. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 11:00 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may call Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
