Tafaro, Carmela "Millie" (nee Occhipinti) age 89 of Wayne at rest in Oakland on August 8, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Vito William Tafaro (1989). Loving Mother of Angela M. Mc Cran and her husband Edward of Wayne and John W. Tafaro, Sr. and his wife Judith of Woodland Park. Grandmother of Marybeth, Lauren, Kristin, John Jr., Vito, Daniel and Edward. Great Grandmother of Thirteen. Sister of Anna Contini of Paterson, Sam Occhipinti of Paterson and Edward Occhipinti of FL. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson, then in Haledon before moving to Wayne twenty years ago. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Tafaro was a member of St. Paul's Senior Citizens Club, Prospect Park. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of The Valley R.C. Church, Wayne at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
