Uncle Bill was a wonderful man. I loved him very much. He used to make me laugh with this little trick he did with his finger. I'll never forget a nice drive we had together going up into the countryside and having lunch together at a little cafe. I liked the sound of his voice and just his whole wonderful personality. God bless Uncle Bill.

I have fond memories of going fishing with Bill; he had a great love for the outdoors and fishing and hunting. He had a great sense of humor and often made witty remarks. You could sense his manly courage, and self-esteem. He introduced me to superior beers, and we enjoyed many together over the years. I'll miss him.

Bill was a complicated soul, serious with an ever present twinkle in his eye. He had such love for his wonderful wife Alice and his two lovely children. And how he appreciated Alice's fine cooking, such meals we all had together. After dinner Bill would enjoy a good brandy, especially Armagnac. At breakfast when he watched me buttering toast, he'd ask what'r ya doin, cmenting the sidewalk? Or when we would arrive from the long drive from Boston, he would always ask, djeat?
He always gave the impression that he had seen a lot more and knew a lot more about life than he ever let on. We'll miss you dear, dear man.

When I think of Mr.Scheller I can see him coming home from work and hear the noises that only a corvette can make.I'd hear him saying let's play ball in the yard Lefty gomez since I'm left handed and instruct me on my form. I will forever be Arlenski and he will always be checking out the squirrels in the gutters . I smell his pipe and see his smiling face after a good corned beef sandwich at Sunshines deli or a good Pilsner. Thanks for being a part of my childhood and for your service to our country.
