Obituary of Justin W. Monzo

Monzo, Justin W. Sr. age 83 of Forest City, PA formerly of Haledon at rest in Honesdale, PA on April 30, 2009. Beloved husband of the late and former Doris Cappelletti ( 1999 ). Father of Elaine Skubic and her husband Ron of Forest City, PA and Justin W. Monzo, Jr. and his wife Debra of Fuquay-Varina, NC. Grandfather of Alexis and Stephanie Monzo and Jaclyn and R. Michael Skubic. Brother of Alvan Monzo of Glenwood and the late Angelo Monzo. Brother in Law of Florence Suppa Monzo of Manahawkin. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, he lived in Haledon for most of his life before moving to Forest City, PA four years ago. He was a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, Haledon branch for many years before retiring in 1988. Mr. Monzo was a WW II Army Air Corp Veteran. He enjoyed Archery, Fly Fishing, Tying Flies, Hunting, Bowling, Golfing, and spending time with his family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Monday at 9:30 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice in his memory would be appreciated.
