Obituary of Rosalie V. Markiewicz

Markiewicz, Rosalie V. (nee Pomponio) age 83 of Totowa at rest in Wayne on April 21, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Jack Markiewicz. Loving Mother of Patricia Dunn and her husband Phillip of Totowa. Grandmother of Melissa and Sean Dunn. Sister of the late Elma Petrello, John, Gus, Frank, Eddie and Albert Pomponio. Born in Goriano Cicoli, Italy she came to the United States in 1929 and lived in Cedar Grove for then Little Falls before moving to Totowa. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for St. Vincent's Hospital, Montclair before retiring. Mrs. Markiewicz was a longtime parishioner of Holy Angels R.C. Church, Little Falls and a former member of the Little Falls Ladies Auxiliary. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 10:00 AM.
