Mc Gowan, Eleanor L. (nee Johnson) age 95 of Totowa at rest in Pompton Plains, Pequannock Twsp. on April 6, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Paul Leo Mc Gowan. Loving Mother of James M. Mc Gowan and his wife Judy of Whitehouse Station and Patricia Ann O'Neill and her husband Frank of Gastonia, NC and the late Paul W. and Kenneth F. Mc Gowan. Mother-in-law of Joyce and Nancy. Sister of Charles Johnson of Manchester, CT and Louise Dawson of Portsmouth, NH. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Born in Jermyn, PA she lived in North Arlington before moving to Totowa in 1981. She was a seamstress for Emro Dress Co., Jersey City before retiring. She was a member of the Totowa Boro Senior Citizens Club and the Tri-Boro Nutrition Center. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral blessing at the Little Sisters of the Poor, 140 Shepherds Lane, Totowa, on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa and Saturday 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. at the Little Sisters of the Poor, Totowa.
