Steve it's getting harder not easier. I need to talk to you but I don't want to be an obstacle in your transition to the next plane. I keep lighting a candle to help light your way. MARCH 27, 2009 BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 2/3AM AS I SLEPT SOUNDLY IN MY BED I HEAR THE JOVIAL WORDS OF AN UNFAMILIAR TELL ME TO "MOVE OVER BUDDY, I'M LAYING DOWN NEXT TO YOU"...AT 3:48AM I AWOKE AND WONDERED WHY I WAS CORNERED IN TO THE WALL MY BED RESTS AGAINST...10 MINUTES AFTER I READ A TEXT MESSAGE SENT TO ME AT 2:16AM SAYING, "OBATERO PASSED, I NEED YOUR HELP, PAM"...YOU CAME TO SAY GOODBYE STEVE AND IN YOUR EVER SO SOLEMN STYLE LEFT ME YOUR PASSING BLESSING...REST IN PEACE AND SAVE ME A SPACE IN HEAVEN!!! Dear Steve, I know it has been several years since we were last in touch I was saddened to hear about your passing but know you are in a much better place now. I always enjoyed our long conversations and the time we spend together. Your sense of humor was always refreshing and you were a great friend. It still makes me laugh when I think of the first time we meet and I was about to flee like a bat misinterpreting that you were part of a "medication" group and instread of a "mediation" group. I am forever grateful that your persistence in wanting to know why I was running off and clarifying that for me because I would have missed out on knowing a really great guy. I am very happy for you that you were able to find true love before you left this earth. Enjoy you new journey in heaven. Pat

Steve...A great sense of humor, a man of integrity. For 20 years we shared the ups and downs of retail. It was always a pleasure when you called on us. We shared many laughs and many lunches. Steve was definately one of "the good guys". His dry sense of humor was never lost on many of us. We had so many laughs during the countless gift shows and sales meetings that we attended. I was so happy for him when he met and married Pam and I am so sorry that the union was so short, but I'm sure the love and memories will live on. Steve demonstrated strength and courage through his illness and still kept his positive attitude thru the rough stuff. Steve was a good friend and I will miss him dearly. Debbie
