Obituary of Paul F. Matarazzo

Matarazzo, Paul F. of Totowa at rest in Wayne on February 11, 2009. Beloved husband of Connie (nee Cossari) Matarazzo of Totowa. Loving Father of Vincent Matarazzo and his wife Ann of Cedar Grove, Paul Matarazzo, Jr. and his wife Sharon of FL and Anna Marie Caruso and her husband Vincent of Clearwater, Fl. Grandfather of Michael, Nicholas, Todd, Vincent and his wife Amy and Tara and her husband David. Great Grandfather of Alyssa, Ariella, Liam and Colin. Also survived by a sister Ida of South Jersey. Born in Italy, he came to the United States in 1935 and lived in Paterson before moving to Totowa 55 years ago. He was a Truck Driver for Giannella's Bakery, Paterson for 35 years before retiring. He was an avid golfer, and was a regular at the Passaic County Golf Course, Wayne. He was a member of the Italian American Club, Totowa, the V.F.W., Totowa and the Totowa Seniors. He was a WW II Army Veteran receiving the American Service Medal, The Asiatic Pacific Service Medal, The Good Conduct Medal, The Philippines Liberation Ribbon, and The WW II Victory Medal. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C.
