Karas, Dolores "Dee" (nee Appaluccio) of Paterson at rest in Paterson on December 31, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Edward Karas (2004). Loving Mother of Debra Van Ginneken of Paterson and Dr. Bill Puglisi of Totowa. Sister of Jerry Appaluccio of PA, James Appaluccio of Wayne and the late Tony, Henry, Mary and Adeline Appaluccio. Grandmother of Dana and Damen Van Ginneken and Will Puglisi. Born in Paterson, she was a lifelong city resident. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Karas was a member of the Deborah Hospital Foundation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C.
