Obituary of Ruth Ann Monks

Monks, Ruth Ann (nee Sarappo) age 65 of Totowa at rest in Paterson on December 20, 2008. Beloved wife of Edward A. Monks of Totowa. Mother of Sandra L. Cittrich and her husband Gary of Totowa and Dwayne Pepe and his wife Samantha of West Milford. Grandmother of Mandy, Amber, Cody and Anthony Pepe and Gary Kenneth and Dana Lynn Cittrich. Sister of Frances Flanagan and her husband Thomas of Barnet, VT. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she lived in Totowa and Paterson, then in Little Egg Harbor for fourteen years before moving back to Totowa in 2004. Mrs. Monks was a Quality Control Supervisor for Thompson Medical Corp., Pine Brook for 30 years before retiring in 1999. She was a member of the Totowa Happy Seniors and the American Legion Post # 227 Ladies Auxilliary, Totowa. Mrs. Monks was an avid gardener, she loved the Jersey Shore and she was dedicated to her Grandchildren and family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral Service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Tuesday at 10:00 AM.
