Obituary of Rose Minery

Minery, Rose (nee Avolio), age 99 of Paterson at rest in Oakland on November 2, 2008. Born in Paterson, she was a lifelong city resident. She was a Textile Worker for various Silk Mills in the Paterson area for many years, retiring later at the age of 65. Mrs. Minery was a former parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson. Beloved wife of the late William Minery Sr. Loving Mother of William J. Minery Jr. and his wife Bonnie of Ramsey. Adoring grandmother of William J. Minery III and Skyler Minery. Survivors include many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Donations to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
