Obituary of Elsie Santonastaso

Santonastaso, Elsie (nee Perna), age 96 of Totowa at rest in Paterson on October 12, 2008. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson until 1952 before moving to Totowa. She was a Steamer for Riverside Sportswear, Paterson, for many years before retiring at the age of 62. Mrs. Santonastaso was a member of the Totowa Happy Seniors and the Italian American Independent Club, Totowa. Beloved wife of the late Vincent Santonastaso. Loving Mother of Teresa Payne of Wayne and the late John Santonastaso. Sister of Angelina Savastano of Hawthorne. Mother in Law of Phyllis Santonastaso of Elmwood Park. Grandmother of 7 and Great Grandmother of 14. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
