Obituary of Pietro Annese

Annese, Pietro age 93 of Paterson at rest in Ridgewood on September 2, 2008. Beloved husband of the late and former Vitantonia Pinto. Father of Martino Annese and his wife Pola of Italy, Fedele Annese and his wife Dotty of Fairfield, Laura Semeraro of Old Bridge, Tonia Mansueto and her husband Lorenzo of Italy, Marta Magno and her husband Donato of North Haledon, Maria Agrusti and her husband Mario of Italy and Anna Contuzzi and her husband Vito of Fairfield. Also surviving are twenty one Grandchildren, twenty two Great Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews. Born in Alberobello, Prov. di Bari, Italy he came to the U.S.A. in 1955 settling in Paterson. Mr. Annese was a Custodian for P.S. 25, Paterson for many years before retiring in 1975. Prior to that, he was a Textile Worker for Trio Co., Paterson. He was a parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson. Mr. Annese was an avid gardener and was dedicated to his family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Paterson. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
