Obituary of Peter F. Henderson

Henderson, Peter Mickey F. of Ridgewood at rest in Ridgewood on July 8, 2008. Beloved brother of Joseph P. Henderson and his wife Margaret of Fair Lawn, John Henderson and his wife Barbara McNamara of PA and the late Joan Rolando. Brother-in-law of the late Maurice Rolando. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson, then Fair Lawn from 1961 to 2004 before moving to Ridgewood. He was a Supervisor for the US Postal Service, Ridgewood for 25 years before retiring. Prior to that he was a machine operator at Shulton, Clifton. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Hawthorne. He was a member of the Boys and Girl's Club of Hawthorne. He was a member and Past President of the Lion's Club, where he was the recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellow Award. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Hawthorne at 9:30 AM. Committal Prayers at Laurel Grove Crematory Chapel, Totowa. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to the Boys and Girls Club, 150 Maitland Avenue, Hawthorne, NJ and/or St. Anthonys R.C. Church, 276 Diamond Bridge Avenue Hawthorne, NJ would be appreciated.
