Carrea, Julia (nee Fernandi) age 84 of Totowa at rest in Wayne on December 8, 2012. Beloved wife of Richard M. Carrea Sr. of Totowa. Loving Mother of Karen Savacool and her husband Wes of Hawthorne and Richard Carrea Jr. and his wife Laurie of Leonardo. Dear grandmother of Gary and Daniel Savacool and Dominic and Jack Carrea. Dear sister of Marie Dirisio and her husband Carl of New Hampshire and Loretta Spinelli and her husband Michael of Barnegat Light. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson before moving to Totowa in 2000. She was an Office Administrator for PNC Bank, Woodland Park for fifteen years before retiring in 1993. Mrs. Carrea was a parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church, Paterson. She was "The Best" baker of gourmet cookies. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Tuesday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart/Stroke Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, N.J. 08691 and/or the Susan G. Koman for the Cure, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, Tx. 75265 would be appreciated.
