I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad...I will always remember him. He was such a wonderful, loving guy! Lisa, I remember picking you up to go out on a weekend and I would sit with your Dad and talk. He will always be remembered fondly.
Love to all of you!

Uncle Mario was one of those special people who always had a smile, and made you laugh. We have so many wonderful memories just around the dinner table and playing cards.
He will be greatly missed.

I can't begin to list all the wonderful memories and great time I spent in the company of Uncle Mario. Working with him, laughing with him at family functions and just being around him. You will be missed so very much by so many. And let's not forget how he represented the definition of a true patriot and war hero. We as a nation will alway be indebted to his service to our country and the freedoms we enjoy as Americans
CAN DEATH BE A FRIEND ?
We must recognize that all loss is pain. But just as we speak sometimes of bereavement as a work as we struggle through the stages of denial, anger, and loss to acceptance, so there is a spiritual task as well. And so, on answer to the question set at the beginning, of whether death can be a friend, we say firmly - no, death is not a friend. But we must also say that friendships can not only be kept but also even strengthened in and through death. We can discover - albeit painfully and slowly - ways of experiencing for ourselves the great truth of the Christian faith that Death is also Resurrection, and that God always offers life. We may find ways not only of keeping our friendships with God and each other through death, but also of finding them changed and transformed.

To Uncle Mario,
I will always cherish the years we worked together, your wonderful sense of humor, your laughter and smile. You touched so many peoples lives over the years. Most of all, you loved your family above all else and you enjoyed life to the fullest. You will live in my heart always. To a life well lived

I will always remember Mario sitting in front of me at bingo complaining that he had not won and then he would go on a winning streak. Now he is with the Lord and I am sure will continue his winning streak at bingo in heaven. Save a seat for me Mario.
