Scarmazzo, Wendy L. (nee Alfano) age 39 of Pompton Plains at rest in Wayne on January 21, 2008. Beloved wife of James Scarmazzo of Pompton Plains. Loving mother of Jimmy Scarmazzo of Pompton Plains and Stephanie Scarmazzo of Pompton Plains. Dear daughter of Dianna (nee Berghorn) Totowa and the late Gerald E. Alfano. Step-daughter of James De Luccia of Totowa. Sister of Gerald E. Alfano, III of North Bergen and Michael K. Alfano of Haledon. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she lived in Wayne before moving to Pompton Plains 3 years ago. She was a Human Resource Coordinator for Fortunoff, Wayne for the past 22 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, Wayne at 9:30 AM. Interment at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
