Obituary of Gloria Retkwa

Retkwa, Gloria (nee Prypchan) age 79 of Totowa at rest in Wayne on December 17, 2007. Born in Passaic, she lived in Passaic before moving to Totowa 46 years ago. She was a Bookkeeper for Continental Can Company, Passaic for many years. After that, she was the secretary for St. Nicholas Ukrainian Church, Passaic before retiring. She was a parishioner of St. James RC Church, Totowa and a member of the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Church Senior Club, Passaic. She was also a member of the Totowa Senior Club. Beloved wife of the late Harry J. Retkwa. Sister of Stephanie Nastisin of VA, Nadia Danzi of Hawthorne, Helen Worchak of Totowa, Rose Hromyk of Sussex and the late Mary Para and Michael Prypchan. Sister in law of Julia Retkwa. Aunt of Nadia Thom, Rev. George Worchak, Richard Worchak, Diane Norman, Lance Hromyk, Stephen Retkwa and Mary Ann Mahometa. Also survived by great nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James RC Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
