Obituary of Santo Zisa

Zisa, Santo Samuel age 86 of Little Falls at rest in Ridgewood on September 15, 2007. Born in Paterson, NJ he lived most of his life there before moving to Little Falls ten years ago. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Local #825, Operating Engineers, Springfield, NJ for many years before retiring in 1986. Mr. Zisa was a member of St. Anthonys Catholic Mens Club, Paterson and was a WWII Army veteran. Beloved husband of the late and former Jean Casbarro. Devoted father of Sandra Trapanese and her husband Anthony of West Paterson and Patricia Ann Zisa of Little Falls. Brother of the late Ben, Anthony and William Zisa. Loving grandfather of Sheryl Pellegrino and her husband Frank and Sharon Tappen and her husband Charles and Anthony Michael Trapanese. Cherished great-grandfather of Gianna, Frank, and Anthony Pellegrino and Gabriella Tappen. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Pompeii RC Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
