Obituary of Josephine Maratta

Maratta, Josephine age 100, of Wayne, formerly of Paterson at rest in Wayne on August 15, 2007. Born in Sicily, Italy she came to the United States in 1920, residing in Passaic then Paterson before recently moving to Wayne. She was a dressmaker for various clothing factories in Paterson for 25 years before retiring. She was a member of the Wayne Seniors Club, Totowa. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Paterson. Sister of Angelo J. Maratta of Toms River, Mae Cocilovo of Wayne, and the late James and Sam Maratta and Jennie Pellitteri. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Mary's R.C.
