The "Word" for August 10th is "TRANSFORMATION" and Midge was able to transform many students and common-sense adults into strong community minded individuals.
"Get involved and stay involved" was Midge's mantra.
I am proud to say both my son and daughter attended Kennedy High and also knew Mrs. Robinson.
God Bless Midge and her family.Divine inspiration will direct her soul into heaven!

To Pop Robertson, Margie, Bruce, and Alex, I send my deepest and heartfelt sympathy, to all of you. Mom Robertson was a very special mother, who touched the hearts of many with her smile, her compassion, and her unconditional love. Though small in stature, Mom was one tough cookie. She led by example and gained the respect of all she encountered.
Mom brought great joy to my family and me. I will never forget how she and my mother made more noise than the whole crowd did at the Kennedy High School football games. Thanks to Mom Robertson, I am considered an expert when it comes to making Lasagna. I still laugh when I remember her explanation of the “giant alka-seltzer, that hung on the wall. She embraced us all with a spirit that will live on forever.
Mom Robertson’s passing is extremely painful, yet knowing she is at peace helps to ease the pain. May God bless all of you.
Love,
Ginny

Bruce, I was so sad to hear about your Mom today. She will forever be that special person who always found the time to help someone in their time of need. She and your Dad played such a big part in helping us 'grow up' on the right path. Your door was always open to 'the guys' and I enjoyed the great times we had at your house and how she always made me feel like part of the family. I am sure she is with Michael looking down on your family with a smile and that special twinkle in her eyes.
I can't be there with you but please know that she is in my prayers as are you and your family. Let me know if there is anything I can do.............

Midge was one special person. God knew what he was doing when he sent her here. She served the students of JFK for many years and always did it with a smile. She was the kind of nurse you wanted at your side.
She was always one to offer a hand, even at the last min. She was also my friend. I will miss her dearly.
Love to her precious family.
Pat Hillas- former student and forever friend. Love ya Midge.

Midge took me under her wing when I started to get involved in the Association over 35 years ago. We worked on campaigns at her house which then got me involved in politics. She was a great mentor for getting involved in your surroundings. I saw her in March and it was as if we were never apart with her telling me to get involved regarding health care for educators.
May she now rest in peace.

Mrs. Robertson can easily be described as a very sweet, kind and extremely caring woman. As kids she always welcomed us into her home with a warm, wonderful smile. I guess working with kids all those years gave her a keen intuition regarding out thoughts and actions. You knew that she knew and there was no fooling Mrs. R. Feeling warmly welcomed always is a fond memory for me that I will never forget. Lucky for the Robertson family to have such a wonderful, highly regarded mom. Rest in peace with Michael...a wonderful son. Sincerely, RAP

I was a friend of Mikes in SF and found an old letter from Midge written to me in 2000. I know this is really late, but wanted to add my thoughts, since Midge was so good to me during the time Mike was ill. In her note she included a photo of her and Al dancing at a grandsons wedding with the message - "tear up the photo anytime". So like her - so modest. Now is time Midge. Thanks Mike Williamson
